What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia's landmark scheme for people with disability. It provides funding for individualised supports and services to help people with disability achieve their goals, build independence, and participate in community life.
The NDIS is managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and gives participants choice and control over the supports they receive and the providers they choose.
