FoodAssist has been distributing food to people on the Darling Downs since 1996. We feed between 2000 to 3000 people every week. We are a charitable self-funded, public benevolent organisation without direct government financial assistance. We operate through the support of
volunteers, a work experience program for people with disabilities, community service workers and corporate partners.

In addition, FoodAssist offers programs of support for disability work experience and training to assist people with a disability to enter the workforce and build their capacity. Food Hampers are available weekdays for $25.00 and additional items can be purchased from our FoodAssist Store at bargain prices!
