ActsCare provide a safe, stable and dynamic community environment, and support short, medium and long term accommodation in multiple locations across Queensland. Our onsite staff provide around the clock assistance in a respectful, caring and safe 'home away from home' environment. We work closely with service providers with the same goals to support the independence of our residents. We encourage involvement from
outside services and organisations as well as regular visits from family and friends.

Our residents are encouraged to develop relationships with their case managers, service providers and fellow house mates, and are
encouraged to be involved in programs that enhance their life or develop relationships including art and craft activities, fishing trips, library visits and
involvement in a community visitor program.

ActsCare provide the Darling Downs best supported accommodation facility providing a safe, stable and dynamic community environment for people facing various challenges in their life. We have two facilities available, one located on Mary Street, East Toowoomba and the other at Crows Nest, just 40 minutes drive from Toowoomba. The Mary Street facility is close to transport, medical centres, TAFE and Queen’s Park. It is a quick 10 minute walk into the centre of town.  The residence can accommodate up to 12 clients and has three staff members involved with facilitation and administration. 

 

The Crows Nest facility is set on an acre of maintained gardens in two separate Queenslander buildings. The facility can accommodate up to 25 residents and has five staff members involved with facilitation and medication assistance. There is both a male and female facility located on the property. We provide accommodation in situations of crisis, independent living, long or short term, assisted care, emergency, permanent or respite.
