ActsCare facilitates work experience programs for the community including school students, people with a disability and Work for the Dole Program members.  We provide work experience for people involved in groups such as the YMCA, BreakAway, Endeavour Foundation and Clifford Park Special School.  

 

The program teaches our members about safe work conditions, improves their social interactions and confidence and provides a purposeful outing in a productive team environment. Students from both St Mary’s College and St Joseph’s College Toowoomba have completed work experience through the FoodAssist warehouse as part of a Social Justice Program.
